Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome! My name is Mrs. Mraz. I have been the school librarian since 1986. I am married to Bill Mraz and have 1 son, Montana Jay. I live on a ranch and love the ‘country life”. We have 3 rescue dogs and several rescue cats. My hobbies are reading, gardening and taking care of my fur babies. My goal is for students to enjoy reading and find that “zone” where they are “living” the story!
Our library mascots are Fluff and Freckles. They were found by students attending a ball game on a very chilly night. Hiding outside the school, they were starving and in tough shape. The students brought them to the library. Freckles, being the runt of the litter, had to be bottle-fed and almost didn’t make it, but here they are!
We moved into our new Prek-12th grade school library in 1999. The current collection contains about 12,000 library items. We average a yearly circulation of . A curriculum-based DVD collection is available for classroom use. Access to audio books are available to our students through our play-away collection and our Sora (Overdrive) online collection. Over 50 databases (offered through the State Library) are also available.
