Dupree School District 64-2

Where pride and concern = success

District News

  • Hello Families of Dupree School

You can schedule a telecounseling or phone call counseling session with our school counselors! Just email them and they will set up a time to meet with you.

Ms. Amber, Elementary School Counselor: amber.woitalla@k12.sd.us

Mrs. Peacock, JH/HS School Counselor: patty.peacock@k12.sd.us

We know in this uncertain time that many things are up in the air and schedules are very out of whack. We want to make sure students still have access to counseling services while we remain out of school. It is our goal to stay connected with you all during this time of disconnection.

  • This is just a quick reminder that we will be running buses and delivering sack breakfasts and lunches each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Tuesday and Thursday will have 2 breakfast and lunches to cover Wednesday & Friday. Families who participate in the food backpack program will receive that food as well on Thursday's.

In town students can pick up their lunches at the school, entrance F, the gym entrance between the hours of 11:30-12:30.

If students have any assignments to hand in, they can do that too.

As you may have heard, the Governor announced that schools in SD would be closed through May 1.

Our teachers will continue to plan lessons through instructional packets and online assignments.  We will deliver the packets on our buses on Monday but pick up homework any time.  We have a reminder for 7-12th grade students, please check your school email.  Some of you have not checked in, and your teachers are communicating with you via email—so check in with them.  Parents, students need to be doing homework – whether it’s through packets or online.  Midterm for 4th quarter will be Friday, April 3 and we will post grades as normal.  Some students haven’t returned any work yet – so you need to kick it in gear!

Please take care of yourselves and your families.  We will continue to do our best serving our students.  We wish we were in school and miss seeing our students – but that day will eventually come again.  Until then, stay safe and stay healthy. Good bye.

Please check out the Dupree Tiger Athletics and Activities Facebook page Go, Tigers!
